Official Union County docket and record questions belong with the clerk or court that maintains the underlying file. This page identifies the documented local routes for circuit, chancery, justice, and municipal matters. A current court setting, certified copy, restriction question, or payment posting must be confirmed by the responsible government office rather than by this private reference resource.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. Union County Court Docket is a private reference resource. It cannot retrieve files, change or reset a hearing date, remove or seal a case, issue a certified copy, confirm a vendor payment, or provide legal advice. Direct those matters to the clerk or court that holds the official record.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Union County uses separate custodians, so identify the case type and court before calling or mailing a request. Provide the case number if known, the approximate year, the document or docket requested, and whether an uncertified or certified copy is needed. Ask the office to confirm its current request method, fee, and processing time before payment or travel.

  • Circuit criminal, civil, or appeal docket: use docket search for the MEC/PAMEC route, or contact Circuit Clerk Donna Treadaway at 114 E. Bankhead Street, New Albany, MS 38652, 662-534-1910. MEC lists court hours as 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; confirm counter hours before travel.
  • Chancery domestic, probate, guardianship, equity, or land-litigation record: contact Chancery Clerk Annette M. Hickey at 109 E. Main Street, New Albany, MS 38652, 662-534-1900. The recorded-land index is separate from a Chancery case docket.
  • Justice Court citation, lower-court civil, or preliminary matter: contact Justice Court Clerk Mary Katherine Hale at 662-534-1951. The official directory provides P.O. Box 27, New Albany, MS 38652 as the mailing address; ask the clerk to confirm the current physical counter location.
  • Municipal citation or ordinance case: contact the issuing city court or city clerk. New Albany, Sherman, Myrtle, and Blue Springs keep municipal channels separate from Union County Circuit and Chancery records.
  • Certified copy, current setting, or restricted record: make the request to the court clerk with custody of that file. The current court case records information explains the distinction between a docket, document, certified copy, and transcript.

The clerk can explain whether the item is in MEC, a legacy index, a municipal or Justice Court file, a land-record system, or a restricted category. Do not use a payment vendor receipt as a substitute for a disposition or certified court record.
